Why ABQ is great

  1. I went to a July 4th party and they burned an effigy of GW Bush, stuffed him full of firecrackers and tossed a match.
  2. Someone made a very flashy homemade firecracker.
  3. It gets nice and chilly here at night when the sun goes down.
And while ya might get to the first 2 in Austin, you damn sure will never experience such lovely July weather as the kind I have here in ABQ - every night. The mornings are fresh and cool, too.  ABQ sits at the foot of a large mountain called Sandia Peak… named after the color of the mountain when the sun goes down and turns it watermelon red.

yeah, it’s the good life.
